THE SECOND FUTURE OF FOOD EVENT

Spring is here and it seems that Babylon Farm is becoming a serial event builder! To celebrate this new season we hosted an other future of food event with an appetizing meetup. The main focus of the round table was The Cellular agriculture, insects and microalgae : let’s eat the food of the future

 

On April 19th, we were gathering leading startups founders, techies, investors and a community of foodies to discuss this fascinating subject.

Our exciting panel was moderated by Mike Lee, founder and CEO of Studio Industries and Alpha Labs,  featured 3 food tech companies, pioneering the food of the future:

 

* Alvyn Severien, CEO and Co-founder of Algama on offering tasty, healthy and sustainable food made from microalgae

* Gabi Lewis, Co-Founder & Co-CEO Exo, on pioneering the consumption of insects as an alternative protein source

* Erin Kim, Communications Director at New Harvest, the non-profit driving open scientific research on cultured meat

The event was co-hosted by Babylon Farm, Algama & Spark Labs Bryant Park in New-York.

Attendees of the event had the opportunity to meet the latest food tech entrepreneurs and enjoy a drink (or more) as well as delicious products from Algama and Exo right after the panel!
